Job Description Speed, Agility & Strength Coach Opportunity - Youth & High‑Level Athlete Performance
Elite Sports NW – Woodland, WA
Elite Sports NW is opening a
brand‑new sports performance facility
in Woodland, Washington, and we are seeking to partner with a
highly experienced Speed, Agility & Strength Coach
to work with
youth and high‑level athletes
through group training and private performance sessions.
This is a
1099, revenue‑share partnership role
designed for a coach who is passionate about
long‑term athlete development , understands what it takes to reach the
next level , and wants to invest in athletes as both
competitors and young leaders .
About Elite Sports NW Elite Sports NW has direct connections to:
Travel baseball organizations
Local and regional travel basketball clubs
A strong and growing pipeline of motivated athletes and families
Our primary athlete population ranges from
ages 9–18 , with a focus on:
Building strong athletic foundations at younger ages
Developing speed, strength, and movement quality
Preparing middle school and high school athletes for
future collegiate opportunities

The Opportunity We are looking for a coach who:
Is passionate about
building young athletes the right way
Has extensive experience working with
high‑level or competitive athletes
Values
character development alongside performance
Is comfortable serving as a
mentor and role model
Can positively influence athletes during critical developmental years
You will have the opportunity to:
Lead
group speed, agility, and strength classes
Offer
private and semi‑private training
Work with baseball and basketball athletes year‑round
Help guide athletes through key physical and personal development stages
Participate in
leadership development moments
within the facility culture
This role is ideal for a coach who views training as both a
calling and a craft .
Schedule & Flexibility
Group classes and private training based on athlete demand
Afternoons, evenings, and weekends are most common
Schedule built collaboratively for consistency and program growth
Coaching Focus Areas We're seeking experience in:
Speed development and sprint mechanics
Agility and change of direction
Strength training for youth and adolescent athletes
Plyometrics and power development
Movement quality, durability, and injury resilience
Age‑appropriate progression and athlete education
Experience with
baseball and/or basketball athletes
is a strong plus.
Compensation Structure
1099 independent contractor
Revenue‑share agreement
Coach maintains autonomy over:
Private training clients
Program delivery within facility standards
Facility provides:
Brand‑new space and equipment
Built‑in athlete exposure
Organizational and marketing support
This is a
partnership‑style role , not a traditional employment position.
Ideal Background
Proven experience training
youth, high school, or collegiate athletes
Strength & conditioning or performance training background
Relevant certifications preferred (CSCS, NASM, USAW, etc.)
Strong communication skills with athletes, parents, and coaches
Alignment with a values‑based, leadership‑focused environment
