Job Description
Duties
Develop and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans for preschool children.
Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
Provide a variety of activities and materials that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem‑solving skills.
Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate special events, field trips, and parent‑teacher conferences.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
Requirements
High school Diploma and/or GED
Previous experience working with preschool‑aged children.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
