We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Qualifications

Advanced degree in a technology-related discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.

Extensive experience in senior technology leadership, including software development and scaling enterprise-level technology organizations.

Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, IT infrastructure, and cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.

Demonstrated strength in strategic planning, financial management, budgeting, and executive leadership.

Proven expertise in cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, risk management, and enterprise data governance.

Ability to effectively translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions and measurable value.

Experience managing vendors, third-party service providers, and strategic technology partnerships.

Proven success in talent acquisition, workforce development, and leadership development initiatives.

Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of ten (10) years of executive-level experience providing technology services of comparable size, complexity, and scope.

Tasks and Performance Standards

CTO Responsibilities:

Focus on external-facing technology initiatives, product and platform innovation, and customer-facing systems.

CIO Responsibilities:

Oversee internal IT operations, enterprise systems, and ensure employees have reliable, secure, and efficient technology tools.

Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with DSS business goals, objectives, and approved budgets.

Lead, mentor, and manage technology teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity controls and manage technology-related risks across DSS.

Manage vendor relationships and develop strategic technology partnerships to support DSS operational and strategic needs.

Recruit, retain, and develop skilled technology professionals, including transitioning consultant roles into permanent staff positions.
