Summary
As a Shift Lead in our Regional Distribution Center, you will split time between key warehouse shift management responsibilities and day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring overall shift performance, developing operational action plans, and training to develop and grow the team. You should be comfortable multi-tasking between supervisory and operational tasks and be eager to learn and excel in your role.
What You’ll Do
Provide hands-on support for all operational tasks, including receiving and picking stock, inventory counts, and other essential warehouse functions.
Split time between operational tasks and shift management responsibilities, depending on the needs of business.
Effectively delegate and guide the work of other team members in accordance with Company principles and management model, when needed.
Lead by example to ensure a safe, positive, and productive working environment for all warehouse employees based on company and legal policies and procedures.
Support in the management of inventory process and stock control, warehouse cleanliness, and control of external vendors.
Assist Logistics Team Lead Manager with minimizing costs and improving efficiency of staff and processes.
What You’ll Need
Strong supervisory skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
