Mechanic Shop Laborer (Maintenance)
BASIC FUNCTION: Assists mechanics with repairs and maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and mechanical equipment, and cleans vehicles.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide support to mechanics by helping with the repair and maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and mechanical equipment. This includes working on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and other types of machines and equipment used in operations.
2. Carry out repair and maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisors, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and following safety and quality standards.
3. Perform routine greasing, lubrication, and servicing of vehicles and equipment to ensure they remain in optimal working condition.
4. Clean and wash vehicles and equipment thoroughly, maintaining their appearance and functionality.
5. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in the shop area by regularly removing debris, organizing tools, and following established cleanliness protocols.
