Overview As part of the Orkin Commercial sales team, you will bring a highly persuasive pitch backed by a brand that has protected homes and businesses for almost 125 years. You will have award‑winning training, a competitive pay structure, and the opportunity to grow into leadership.

Responsibilities

Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.

Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.

Serve as an empathetic problem solver for commercial customers by utilizing in‑depth training to recommend the best innovative overall solution for each customer's needs.

Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.

Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.

Conduct an inspection of the interior and exterior of the customer's commercial property.

Make recommendations to customers based on your inspection and identified issues, explaining the solution and setting expectations.

Use the company iPad to prepare sales agreements and maintain organization.

Estimated first‑year earnings: $75,000 to $120,000 USD annually (includes base salary plus uncapped commission).

Qualifications Minimum requirements:

No prior experience required; sales experience is preferred.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company will pay).

Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.

Physical Demands / Working Conditions

Safely use a ladder within manufacturer weight limits.

Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops, with the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Wear personal protective equipment; sometimes an OSHA‑compliant respirator is required.

Work in various weather conditions.
