Job Description PCI is seeking an experienced

Glass and Glazing, Senior Estimator

for our

PCI Indianapolis 551

branch operations based in

Carmel, IN . This individual will Budget/Bid/Secure work in the Glazing Market in both interior and exterior fenestration systems and is responsible for the following duties:

Performing quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.

Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for competitive material and equipment pricing.

Solicit subcontractor pricing for work done outside of our self‑perform group.

Understand the market conditions including competitive approach, backlog, level or risk for work and other factors for establishing margin percentages.

Be involved in the internal bid reviews with supervisors and project team.

Participate in the customer alignment objectives of the branch by creating and maintaining positive customer relations.

Contract administration for secured projects.

Utilize wage and benefit schedules.

Hand‑off of secured projects to the Operations Team.

Assist in other duties as assigned such as change order management or billings depending on the project(s).

Support other members of the Estimating team for product line collaboration.

Perform complete and accurate job hand‑offs to the Operations team.

This position is safety sensitive

Salary range:

$100,000 – $130,000 annual salary plus non‑guaranteed annualized bonus program.

Basic Requirements

At least 7-10 years of estimating glazing construction projects.

Experience with estimating/project management/managing specialty scopes of construction: Including but not limited to Storefronts, Windows, Curtain Walls and other miscellaneous interior glazing scopes.

Strong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work.

Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

High level of attention to detail and cost analysis.

Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work.

Proficiency with computer takeoff & estimating software such as Logikal, Partner Pack and Glaziers Studio.

Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, BlueBeam Revu, Procore, or PlanSwift.

Preferred Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or related discipline.

Local to Indianapolis metro area is preferred but not required.
