Base Pay Range
$18.00/hr - $25.00/hr
Position Summary Responsible for maintaining and processing shipments for Sam's Club in accordance with company policies and procedures. Duties include developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and processing expenses.
What You'll Do
Maintain and process shipments for the Club by developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and handling payments.
Receive merchandise for the Facility, organize and maintain the Receiving area by following company procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing required documentation.
Track and process claims by returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, maintaining and cleaning the clearance area, and using technology to capture required reporting and documentation.
Maintain the safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conduct safety sweeps; follow proper forklift spotting procedures; correctly handle and dispose of hazardous materials; follow company steel standard guidelines; and correct/report unsafe situations to facility management.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in business processes and practices.
Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
