Position Overview: We are seeking a Treasury Operations Associate to join our Team in Plano, TX! This individual will oversee payment execution and ensure all cash activity is processed in accordance with corporate compliance and regulatory guidelines, including OFAC. Additional duties will include processing cash/securities wires and ACH payments in support of the firm's business lines, performing daily balancing/reconciling with banks and clearing firms, and providing governance over the authorized payment approvers process, while managing associated risks.

Our Impact: Treasury Operations is responsible for ensuring that cash activity is processed in accordance with regulatory and corporate guidelines for the entire company. Investment and Capital Markets is responsible for managing our mortgage‑related investments portfolio, single family, securitization activities and treasury functions.

Your Impact: Payment Execution and Operational Risk Management

Govern authorized payment approvers, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Authority process and payment instructions setup.

Assist in projects to strengthen Freddie Mac’s payment processing including completing new business impact.

Develop, modify, and execute departmental controls and procedures.

Payment Fraud Prevention

Perform detective and preventative payment monitoring to identify fraud and operational errors.

Ensure the integrity of the company’s wire and ACH payment instructions.

Monitor transactions for adherence to OFAC requirements.

Resiliency - Risk Management

Execute risk assessments and document processes to ensure the firm can effectively respond in the event of a resilience event.

Partner with Information Technology to develop, maintain and test disaster recovery and restoration plans.

Design and execute business resiliency/disaster recovery tests.

Perform supplier risk assessments.

Bank Relationship Management and Other Responsibilities

Manage banking relationships/bank services.

Evaluate monthly bank fees.

Prepare and present monthly Treasury Operations management report which focuses on key risk indicators, key control indicators, and payment volumes.

Provide strong support to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience with 1+ year of relevant work experience

Understanding of Treasury Services, Cash Management and Banking Services including investment instruments, rules, regulations, compliance, fraud prevention, and related risks is preferred

Understanding of the Federal Reserve payment systems is helpful

Advanced Excel knowledge or equivalent and Tableau is preferred

Demonstrated strong data analytical skills

Keys to Success in this Role:

Banking and Financial industry knowledge, NACHA processes/rules, Microsoft Excel and Word (preferred)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

This position has an annualized market‑based salary range of $60,000 - $90,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
