Job Summary Data Analyst will work with a cross‑functional team to develop and execute a data analytics strategy for Global Procurement & Supply Chain (GPSC). GPSC analytics encompass the acquisition, processing, and machine learning of business data and application to preventive maintenance and intelligent control of our vehicles. The position supports teams in developing, deploying policies, and procedures that promote efficient, accurate data, analysis, and effective information management to ensure data analysis is used and maintained properly across our organization.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Collaborate with other team members to execute data analytics strategy for cross‑segment.

Acquire necessary business understanding to conduct appropriate analysis through communication with internal experts, external partners, and industry researchers.

Discover, acquire, explore, prepare, assess, and maintain datasets from a variety of sources to support analyses and ad‑hoc investigative requests.

Help identify valuable data sources and automate related tasks (ETL, reporting, etc.).

Undertake the processing of structured and unstructured data, analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.

Utilize AI and ML algorithms built into the analytics platform to cleanse and categorize volumes of data.

Present information using data visualization techniques and chart/dashboard tools for technical and non‑technical audiences and build automated reports.

Prepare and concisely deliver analysis results in visual and written form that communicate data insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Recognize problems requiring advanced analytical techniques to solve, develop, and investigate strategies toward a solution.

Minimum Qualifications

Organized, detail‑oriented, with strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to handle tasks in a fast‑paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.

Display excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership and peers.

Understanding of general concepts of statistics, data mining, machine learning, data visualization, information retrieval, artificial intelligence, and computer vision.

Data governance abilities with knowledge of metadata management, data quality management, data integration, or data management.

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or STEM / related field) OR two (2) or more years of proven data‑centric work experience; OR graduate degree in data science (or a related field with applicable work experience).

Prior experience in industrial and/or manufacturing environments desired, and any experience with automotive or heavy‑duty on or off‑road vehicles and controller area network (CAN) signals is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Understand the general concepts of statistics, data mining, machine learning (ML), data visualization, information retrieval, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Strong proficiency with Power BI and other supply chain systems for data visualization.

Design, develop, implement, and sustain data analytics, governance of policies and procedures as part of a broader enterprise data management program including: data quality framework, metrics, and adherence to data standards; data cataloging and data flow/lineage visualization; identify and collaborate with data stewards; clean, categorize, and maintain metadata.

Pay Range $73,200.00 – $117,800.00
