Job Description
New England Safety Systems, Inc is currently seeking a full‑time Service Coordinator for our service Department. Full benefits package includes health/dental, life, and 401k.
Essential Job Functions
Maintain the Service Techs daily scheduled and dispatch the techs as service calls are requested
Schedule return trips with customers when parts are in
Maintain the on‑call schedule for service technicians
Maintain the customer database with current information
Clear and concise communications with department managers, employees, and customers, including keeping customers apprised of company schedule and requested lead‑times
Take incoming customer calls
Schedule and coordinate service calls as calls are received
Confirm schedule with customer, AHJ, subcontractor, and any other parties concerned
Create dispatch tickets for service calls
Dispatch service technicians
Debrief service technicians after completion of each call
Respond to all messages left overnight
Maintain the dispatch schedule
Forecast workload for 2–3 days out
Continually update customers with the status of delayed jobs
Follow up on all pending and recommended work
Track jobs waiting for parts
Maintain customer history files in database
File service orders
Facilitate return of warranty parts
Update service database from service ticket
Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Qualification Requirements
Advanced customer service skills
Ability to multi‑task
Organized, geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
Knowledge of industry is recommended
Two years related experience and/or training in customer service, dispatching or project management or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, ServiceTrade, and QuickBooks a plus
