To support our company’s strategic initiatives and continued growth, we are currently seeking top talent to join our Marketing Department as a Pricebook Analyst. The Pricebook Analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate item level details, including cost and retail prices while supporting Operations team members for pricing and product discrepancies as well as organizing and analyzing all data passed between Category Managers and the Pricebook group.
Responsibilities
Maintaining vendor, store, and item level data
Analyzing, entering and adjusting codes and categorizations for products offered in the stores
Retrieving and analyzing data from PDI or other internal reporting (Power BI, PDI Exception reporting)
Arranging and presenting data in a user-friendly format to be leveraged by Marketing, Finance, and Operations departments in relation to Pricebook data
Obtaining information on new products and/or vendors, including store authorization, cost, and retail data
Obtaining information and maintaining any promotional activity
Collecting and maintaining both Direct Store Deliveries (DSD) and Warehouse (WH) vendor information using available systems (ie: McLane, D365 and PDI)
Maintaining pre-structured filing system
Tracking of paperwork submitted and confirming paperwork completion
Support Operations and Finance with any Pricebook related matters with quick turnaround
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Working Relationships Marketing, Finance, IT and Operations
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS HS Diploma or GED
Preferred Education Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Experience 1-3 years of experience in retailing pricing, merchandising, or a similar analytical role.
Licenses/Certifications NA
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong Presentation Skills
Ability to foster team work and build collaborative relationships
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Requirements Typically, Monday – Friday, 8+ hour days in office setting, may be able to work 1 day from home with approval.
Minimal physical effort required; sitting / standing at computer for long periods of time. Ability to maneuver and lift up to 10 lbs.
