The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for receiving, stocking, and distributing medical and linen supplies to designated patient care areas. The role maintains inventory control, par levels, and ensures equipment readiness to serve patient and departmental needs. Essential Functions
Interacts with co‑workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with Jefferson values. Manages requisitions, shelves, and distributes medical and linen supplies from storerooms, linen room, and bulk room (30%). Uses PeopleSoft Mobile Supply Chain for receiving, cycle counts, inventory control, replenishment, and communicates with customers professionally (30%). Ensures supply/linen rooms, par level carts, orders, and exchange carts meet established quotas; restocks items, tracks expiration dates, and logs inspections (20%). Maintains logs: delivery documents, property tag log, returned goods log (15%). Safeguards patient information, upholds HIPAA, communicates tactfully, and adapts to fluctuating situations (5%). May use material handling devices such as pallet jacks and furniture movers. Responds to phone, beeper, walk‑in, loading dock, and delivers supplies timely. Performs other duties as assigned. Education
High school graduate or equivalent required. Experience
Prior experience in inventory preferred, not required. Salary Range
Salary will be determined based on candidate experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive. Work Shift
