Aircraft Fuel Cell Technicians (Class C)
to support fuel tank maintenance operations in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma . This is an entry level technical position designed for individuals looking to build hands on experience in aviation fuel systems within a certified repair station environment.
This role is ideal for mechanically inclined candidates who are eager to learn, work safely, and develop technical skills under the guidance of experienced supervisors. You will perform fuel tank maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration tasks in accordance with approved maintenance data and regulatory requirements.
Job Summary The Aircraft Fuel Cell Technician Class C is an entry level position with less than two years of aircraft maintenance experience. This role reports to the Facility Supervisor and or Facility Manager and is responsible for performing fuel tank maintenance tasks as assigned. This position does not carry supervisory, inspection, or return to service authority and is not required to be certified under 14 CFR Part 65 or listed on the management, supervisor, or inspector roster.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals
Perform fuel tank maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration tasks as directed
Ensure maintenance operations are completed or partially completed and properly signed off
Perform maintenance activities in the correct sequence and request inspections in an orderly and timely manner
Follow appropriate maintenance data and customer requirements at all times
Ensure test equipment and tools used for airworthiness determinations are properly labeled and current
Request stock and materials as required for assigned work
Properly record work performed on maintenance records and complete required paperwork
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Remain compliant with applicable FAR Part 145 and Part 43 requirements
Maintain familiarity with the Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, and subsequent revisions
Record on the job training for tasks assigned
Immediately communicate to supervision any procedures, practices, or conditions that could lead to injury, inefficiency, or unairworthy conditions
Work flexible schedules and perform tasks in confined spaces as required
Required Skills
Ability to comprehend and perform aircraft fuel system maintenance with provided training
Required Experience
Entry level position with zero to two years of experience in aviation fuel maintenance
Mechanical experience preferred
Work Environment
Ability to work in small or confined spaces
Flexibility to support varying schedules based on operational demands
