OpsTech Solutions is accountable to manage all IT infrastructure and end‑user equipment deployed across Amazon Fulfillment facilities globally. The team is responsible for providing end‑to‑end solutions for this equipment that includes lifecycle management, change control, capital/demand planning, material management, Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) & liquidation. Our initiatives deliver on the solutions that power the physical fulfillment of our customers’ orders. This includes management of new site launches across the globe that directly supports shipping packages to millions of Amazon.com customers.

About The Role We are seeking a hands‑on IT Support Technician to join our team, focusing on RMA services and end‑user device support. Technicians identify and diagnose issues, repair, test and validate, create vendor RMAs and document resolutions for reporting purposes. The role includes working on technical support and special tasks/projects like continuous improvements and engineer support. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, perform repairs, and contribute to process improvements in our warehouse environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

Provide first‑line technical support for RMA equipment including scanners, laptops, and printers.

Perform diagnosis and Tier 1 repairs on various devices and equipment.

Process RMA requests and manage equipment returns/replacements.

Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, maintenance, and support activities.

Participate in continuous improvement projects with IT peers and operations teams.

Respond to and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment.

Support engineering projects and special initiatives as needed.

Assist in training new hires.

Continuous learning of new technologies.

Support customers from multiple buildings and remote customers.

Basic Qualifications

1+ year of corporate‑setting Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems support experience.

Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.

Experience maintaining Zebra thermal printers; troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.

Ability to carry/​lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.

Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Red Hat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other relevant certifications.

Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.

Experience prioritizing and managing time effectively in dynamic environments.

Experience in oral and written communication.

Experience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasks.

Service management, project management, and inventory management skills.

Experience with automation; Python, HTML, Java, C++.

The base pay for this position ranges from $44,000 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $91,800 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
