Write and self-publish weekly Features or Lists
Focus on timely, trending content related to newly released or airing TV shows and movies (streaming, cable, and network)
Pitch original ideas and angles based on current trends, fan discourse, or critical reception
Deliver clean, engaging, SEO-friendly content with minimal oversight
Work under tight deadlines and submit tasks on time
Respond to editorial feedback and adhere to in-house standards
Consistent and timely payments
Slack community & team environment
Remote freelance position to work from a location of your choice
Opportunities for additional assignments and expanded responsibilities
Experience and Skills
2 years of experience writing about Movies or TV for a digital publication
Strong grasp of pop culture trends, fandoms, and entertainment discourse
Exceptional storytelling and analytical skills—can contextualize and critique media
SEO experience and comfort working in a CMS
