North Dallas Adventist Academy (NDAA) is a growing PK-12 school with over 250 students, located in Richardson, Texas, approximately 20 miles from Dallas. NDAA has a warm and family-like environment. The school has a new, state-of-the-art STEM lab, a state championship basketball team, soccer and volleyball teams, an orchestra, a band, choirs, robotics, and more. We are the 5th most diverse private school in the state of Texas.
NDAA is looking for an engaging and enthusiastic high school science teacher. Candidates must be team players, create a strong Christ-centered learning environment, and effectively manage a large group of students.
Required Experience Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, Christ-centered instruction aligned with the Adventist curriculum
Foster a positive, nurturing, and spiritually enriching classroom environment
Integrate faith and learning while promoting academic excellence
Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and the church community to support student development
Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication with parents and administration
Participate in school activities, professional development, and staff meetings
Uphold school policies, safety standards, and Adventist educational principles
Qualifications
Authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in science from an accredited institution
Denominational teaching certification (or willingness to obtain)
Active membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church
Experience in science preferred
Strong commitment to integrating faith and learning
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to inspire and engage students in a Christ-centered environment
