We are looking to add a Reality Capture Specialist who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities!
What You Will Be Doing:
Manage and support Reality Capture logistics including:
Manage aerial fleet, sensors, and other equipment
Support BMI staff with registration, certifications, and training
Refine workflows and processes continuing to innovate and create efficiency in Reality Capture operations
Ensure safety and compliance with FAA and other applicable regulations, manage risk and compliance with internal protocols during all operations
Manage and support aerial captures across the firm including:
Flight and project development
Flight planning and capture
Capture assistance, airspace vetting, and authorizations
Manage and support mobile lidar captures across the firm including:
Mobile capture project development
LiDAR planning and capture
Manage and support laser scanning captures including laser scanning project development and planning
Responsible for reality capture project delivery including:
Processing point cloud and photogrammetry data from captures, delivery to internal end users and clients, ensuring correct coordinate systems and deliverable format
Feature extraction from processed data
Analyze and process data from Reality Capture platforms to develop meaningful insights and actionable data
Develop project scopes, proposals, quotes and cost estimates
Assist clients and staff with capture methodology and deliverables
Contribute to the development and evolution of the Reality Capture Group including data management, QA/QC, software expertise, integration with design, training and mentorship, and business development
What We Are Looking For:
B.S. Degree in Geography, Computer Science or GIS or equivalent from an accredited college. Master's degree preferred
Three (3) years of related GIS experience
FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification
Remote Sensing Certification preferred
Effective interpersonal written & verbal communication skills
Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of spreadsheet and database software including Microsoft SQL
Skilled knowledge and skills in AutoCAD or MicroStation
Developing knowledge of data analytics, advanced data visualization techniques and Big Data
Possess a valid driver's license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required
Bolton & Menk will currently not be providing visa sponsorship or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students. Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the start of employment without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.
Salary Range:
$62,000 - $99,000 depending on years of experience and credentials
Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, in addition to specific geographic location. The company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and to offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
