Role Overview We’re seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead Dremio’s global events strategy and execution. While based in EMEA, this is a truly global role responsible for all company events worldwide. You’ll own end-to-end logistics for our flagship events including Subsurface Live (our premier customer and prospect event series) and Iceberg Summit, manage our global tradeshow presence, oversee virtual event operations, drive sponsorship strategy for our major events, and manage global swag operations and corporate gifting programs. The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented logistics expert who thrives in a fast‑paced, global environment and excels at cross‑time‑zone collaboration.

Key Responsibilities Event Logistics & Execution (Global)

Own logistics planning and execution for Subsurface Live globally, our premier multi‑city event series targeting platform owners, architects, and data leaders

Manage all aspects of Iceberg Summit logistics worldwide, including vendor management, venue coordination, and attendee experience

Oversee global tradeshow presence across all regions including booth design, vendor relationships, shipping logistics, and on‑site execution

Manage logistics for virtual events including platform selection, technical setup, and attendee experience optimization

Sponsorship Management

Develop and execute sponsorship strategies for Subsurface Live and Iceberg Summit

Identify, negotiate, and secure event sponsors

Manage sponsor relationships and ensure sponsor deliverables are met

Create sponsorship packages and track sponsorship revenue against targets

Swag & Gifting Operations

Manage global swag warehouses and inventory across multiple regions

Oversee swag procurement, design approval, and distribution logistics

Develop and execute corporate gifting strategies for events, customers, and prospects

Manage vendor relationships for swag production and fulfillment

Track swag budgets and optimize spend across programs

Vendor & Budget Management

Negotiate and manage relationships with venues, vendors, and suppliers across global markets

Own event budgets globally and ensure cost‑effective execution while maintaining quality standards

Track and reconcile expenses across all event programs worldwide

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with US‑based demand generation and field marketing teams on event strategy and execution

Coordinate with regional field marketing teams (EMEA, DACH, AMER) to align on event priorities

Work with sales teams globally to ensure events support pipeline and revenue goals

Collaborate with marketing operations on registration platforms, data tracking, and reporting

Program Optimization

Develop and maintain event playbooks and standard operating procedures for global consistency

Track event performance metrics and provide post‑event analysis

Continuously improve processes to increase efficiency and impact across all regions

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in event management preferably in B2B technology or SaaS

Proven track record managing large‑scale conferences and global tradeshow programs

Experience developing and executing sponsorship strategies

Experience managing swag operations, inventory systems, and corporate gifting programs

Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple events simultaneously across time zones

Experience with event technology platforms and registration systems

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (required)

Willingness to work adjusted hours to collaborate extensively with US‑based team members

Ability to travel up to 40% of the year for event execution and site visits. Approximately 80% of this travel will be in EMEA, with the remaining 20% in North America.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing events across multiple global regions (EMEA, AMER, APAC)

Background in data/analytics, cloud, or enterprise software sectors

Knowledge of the Apache Iceberg ecosystem or data lakehouse technologies

Experience with ABM or ABX event strategies

Additional European language skills

Experience managing seven‑figure event budgets

Experience with Bizzabo our event platform

Familiarity with swag management platforms and fulfillment systems
