Position Description
Coordinates subcontracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure conformity.
Carries out inspections as needed.
Responsible for daily planning, creation, and maintenance of project schedules.
Supervises and organizes workers; ensures workers are available and fully qualified to perform assigned duties.
Schedules crews according to available work packages for the project and all required equipment and materials necessary to complete tasks.
Responsible for controlling costs, adhering to budgets, and managing equipment-related expenses. Ensures staff is aware of production rates for assigned items of work.
Conducts regular safety meetings; maintains a safe work environment with the goal of keeping accidents and injuries to a minimum and complying with company and regulatory safety procedures. Complies with EPA requirements.
Assists project management team ensuring compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of the city, state and federal government applicable to the project.
Participates in the development and implementation of jobsite quality, safety and production plans; ensures maintenance of all records in accordance with project standards.
Monitors timely delivery of necessary materials to assure continued productivity.
Position Requirements
High School diploma
6+ years of experience in Heavy Civil Construction
Basic computer skills are preferred
