Our client, an AI-driven organization within the financial services industry, is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will own the full lifecycle of interface delivery, from architecture and performance to accessibility and UX, as well as craft pixel-perfect experiences and build scalable design systems.
Responsibilities
Drive the architecture and implementation of complex, data-intensive user interfaces.
Design and optimize state management and data-fetching strategies for maximum performance and reliability.
Collaborate closely with design and product teams, contributing to UX research, prototyping and interaction design.
Define and enforce frontend best practices, including design tokens, theming, testing and CI/CD workflows.
Develop and maintain reusable component libraries to ensure consistent, high-quality customer-facing experiences.
Skillset
Excellent skills in React, Next.js, Tailwind, Vercel, Zustand and React Query.
Strong design and UX ownership abilities, including shaping interaction patterns and driving visual clarity.
Experience building scalable component libraries and design systems across multiple products.
Skilled in optimising performance, accessibility, testing and error handling, delivering outstanding Core Web Vitals.
Ability to transform ambiguous ideas into clear, actionable flows and ship quickly.
An opinionated and thoughtful developer, making informed decisions at both the framework and code level, and exploring new patterns to deliver the best product.
