Position Summary The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for receiving, picking and shipping inventory through the Inventory Management System. Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator will assist with properly administering safety procedures and equipment inventory at Headquarters.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
Complies with warehouse and inventory standard operating procedures
Keeps warehouse clean and organized
Receives stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct
Prepares product for installation via pick ticket
Operates warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.) for the purpose of moving large and heavy items safely and efficiently
Monitors inventory by completing cycle counts as required
Discards trash daily to keep warehouse area clear of trash
May assist in delivering equipment to job sites
Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Certifications
High School Graduate or GED
Experience
2+ years in warehouse function
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must possess a valid state driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to count accurately and be detailed oriented
Must be a team player
Must work well unsupervised and be self-motivated
Strong computer skills
Special Skills & Training
Forklift driving knowledge and certification is a plus
Physical Demands And Abilities
Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers
Regularly spend long hours answering phone calls and emails
Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly
Regularly spend long hours in intense concentration reviewing and entering information into a computer
Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects
Regularly see details of objects that are less than a few feet away
Regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand
Regularly understand the speech of another person
Frequently work on projects that require deadlines
Frequently bend to file and maintain files
Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds
Travel Requirements Employee is required to travel for business purposes, not including commute to and from work. If required to travel, must have a valid Driver's License/Insurance and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites.
