The Home Finding Consultant is essential in guiding prospective and current residents through the rental home finding process for single-family homes. This role involves delivering accurate information, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless leasing experience. The Home Finding Consultant is responsible for managing inquiries, meeting goals, and collaborating with various teams to support occupancy and retention objectives. Key Responsibilities

Assist Prospective Residents: Assist potential residents throughout the rental home finding process. Achieve Goals: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly goals by effectively following up on leads and supporting growth strategies. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with property management, maintenance, and marketing teams to address any issues, streamline operations, and enhance the overall leasing process. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Handle inbound and outbound communications (phone, email, text) with prospective residents, addressing general inquiries and providing general property information in adherence to workforce management guidelines and forwarding to real estate license holders, as appropriate. Guiding, through real estate license holders, prospective residents through the leasing process, including viewing, applying for, and moving into Progress Residential homes. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the leasing process. Maintain and update a comprehensive database of prospective residents, tracking interactions, follow-ups, and status updates. Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly goals by directly or indirectly through real estate license holders, following up on leads and supporting occupancy and retention objectives. Assist with application processing and ensure all necessary documentation and move-in payments are completed before the move-in date. Collaborate with the Customer Onboarding team and other cross-functional team members to address any issues and streamline the leasing process. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Fair Housing, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other relevant laws. QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED required. An active real estate license is preferred. As a Progress Residential employee, should you be licensed, you must hold your license with the company and will not be permitted to practice real estate outside of this role. Proven customer service experience, preferably in a service-oriented business. Basic knowledge of maintenance is beneficial. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Motivated by performance-based incentives and driven to meet goals. Capable of working productively in a fully remote role, requiring effective communication and collaboration with team members working in multiple locations.
