Job Summary As a Core Payments Relationship Manager (RM), you will prospect and run presentations—both in person and over the phone—to small and mid‑size merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses in order to close deals within a fast sales cycle. You will report to a District Manager and receive coaching from a Director. Your activities include explaining our value proposition, demonstrating the Payments Platform, upselling current clients on other Global Payments products, and maintaining regular communication with the Core Payments District Manager.
Job Duties Your role as a Core Payments Relationship Manager is to close sales of our business solutions with merchants throughout the area. You will work closely with your local District Manager to set appointments with business owners via your network and referral partnerships. You will run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Global Payments solutions to close sales in small to mid‑size businesses.
During the training period, your District Manager will accompany you on your initial appointments to train you in our short‑cycle sales process using our CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation, sales presentations, on‑spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing.
Additional Responsibilities
Prospect new clients.
Maintain existing and prospective client records in the CRM system (currently Atlas), including call notes, scheduled interactions, contact information, and other relevant data.
Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first‑time appointments to secure quota.
Continuously build and develop knowledge of the current product/service portfolio and changes in the financial technology industry to remain up‑to‑date.
Attend weekly team meetings and weekly one‑on‑one meetings with your leader.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity.
High sense of urgency and innate sales talent.

Knowledge of the restaurant and/or retail industry is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
18 years of age or older.
A valid driver’s license is necessary; the position requires regular driving to visit client sites.
Background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment, in accordance with state law.
Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near the 60th day of employment.
Live in the area relative to the job posting location.
Ability to be in the field at least 75% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
At least two years of relevant experience.

Compensation Annual On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+.
Base salary: $40,000–$50,000.
Residual income: Keep earning from your hard work.
Monthly/quarterly bonuses: Extra financial incentives for exceeding quota and achieving sales goals.
