What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage overall project for client initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets
Develop and coordinate project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders
Track project progress and assist in resolving issues during procurement lifecycles
Create internal and external communications and messaging to stakeholders
Host weekly status meetings and deliver reports to keep stakeholders informed
What is Required (Qualifications):
5+ years of project management experience in government procurement
3+ years of specific experience with Texas state agency IT procurements
Direct experience managing multiple concurrent procurement initiatives
Proficiency with PMI methodologies and DIR Project Delivery Framework
Proven stakeholder management experience in a government environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
CTCM (Certified Texas Contract Manager) or CTCD (Certified Texas Contract Developer) certification
Experience with projects valued over $10M
Prior work experience with Texas DMV or transportation agencies
