NVE Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven
FOIA Analyst
to join our team in support of our Federal Government customer.
This role is expected to be remote, allowing qualified FOIA professionals to contribute their expertise without geographic constraints.
The remote structure supports uninterrupted analytical work, flexible scheduling within program needs, and consistent productivity—making it well-suited for professionals who excel in independent, detail-oriented roles while supporting mission-critical federal programs.
In this impactful role, you will support the federal government's commitment by ensuring sensitive information is properly redacted from documents released under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. § 552.
As a
FOIA Analyst , you will review, analyze, redact, and annotate sensitive content from government documents containing data not intended for public release. Your work will ensure compliance with all FOIA requirements and exemptions, preserving the integrity of sensitive federal information while honoring the public's right to access. You'll be instrumental in identifying protected content and applying the appropriate exemption citations with precision and consistency.
As a
FOIA Analyst , success will require strong judgment, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of FOIA requirements and exemptions. Experience with legal documentation, redaction software, or eDiscovery tools is preferred, along with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver accurate results under deadlines. Familiarity with sensitive government data handling protocols is a plus.
