Job Summary
Under close supervision, has responsibility for a variety of materials management functions including but not limited to maintaining adequate inventory of storeroom supplies, inspecting newly received shipments and confirming shipments conform to purchase orders. Deliver stock and non-stock items; store, re-shelf & document newly received and returned products. Sort and post mail. Operate material handling equipment including forklifts.
Essential Responsibilities
Uphold KPs policies & procedures, principles of responsibilities & applicable state, federal & local laws.
Prepare written documentation or transmit replenishment needs.
Change inventory levels based upon data, customer input & knowledge of inventory supply & lead time for replenishment.
May perform inventory analysis.
Deliver supplies, linen, medical records, mail, pharmaceuticals, lab specimens, radiology films, hazardous materials & other items to customers according to prescribed routes & STAT customer needs within specified time frames.
Determine if standard stock/formulary item(s) correctly fulfill customer request.
Verify accuracy of stock/part number, unit of issue, quantity, & time supply required.
Complete & correct recharge & order processing documents as needed.
Rotate & restock supply shelves, checking for & removing outdated supplies.
Maintain organized, clean, & labeled supply areas.
Complete documents to adjust/reorganize inventory as required.
Receive deliveries & may assist in unloading trucks.
Inspect delivery for damage & quality; verify shipments conform to purchase order specifications.
Respond appropriately to customer inquiries regarding logistics services support.
May research request using telephone and/or computer methods.
Assist customers w/ return order or repair process.
Sort mail & other items to ensure efficient & timely distribution.
May post US.
Operates equipment for lifting & transporting supplies such as pallet jacks (manual & electric), hand trucks, & flat bed carts following established safety procedures.
May operate forklift.
Perform cycle counts & records data.
Maintains delivery records.
Ensure adequate documentation, packaging needs, & arranges shipping/transportation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications N/A
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the job including but not limited to medical supplies, stocking & rotation practices, receiving functions, & exchange cart & par level supply systems.
Ability to maintain effective customer relations.
Ability to utilize written & oral communication skills.
Ability to work at multiple sites & transport self between facilities.
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Current California drivers license may be required as specified by area.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in warehousing or material management of medical products, preferred.
High School Diploma/GEDm, preferred.
