Associate Director, Business Insights & Analytics
Location: This position may be performed remotely, but requires the flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
The Opportunity Praxis is looking for a diligent and resourceful individual to serve as Associate Director of Business Insights & Analytics. You'll translate data into actionable insights that guide strategic and operational decisions across our portfolio. As a member of the commercial team you will be hands‑on and execution-focused, ensuring that decisions are consistently informed by rigorous analysis and grounded in evidence. The right candidate brings strong analytical judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and a bias for action.
Primary Responsibilities
Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to plan and execute BI&A research in support of business objectives
Lead research projects end‑to‑end, from study design and vendor management to analysis and insight generation
Track competitors, products, and technology platforms; identify emerging trends and strategic implications
Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights and communicate effectively to senior leadership
Maintain up‑to‑date competitive landscapes and track competitors, products, and technology platforms
Champion a culture of evidence‑based decision making
Qualifications and Key Success Factors
7+ years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or strategy within the biopharmaceutical/oncology sector
Proven ability to design, manage, and interpret primary and secondary research studies, including direct experience designing surveys and discussion guides
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights
Experience managing external vendors and leading cross‑functional projects
Excellent communication and storytelling skills able to translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership
Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, build‑from‑scratch biotech environment with cross‑functional ambiguity
Self‑starter who works successfully in a fast‑paced, start‑up environment
Ability to identify a path forward in ambiguous situations as well as to gain consensus amongst stakeholders with differing perspectives
Domestic and international travel as required

To round out our world‑class total rewards package, we provide annualized base salary compensation in the range listed below. Final salary range may be modified commensurate with job level, education, and experience.
Annualized Base Salary $175,000 - $195,000 USD
