UAM is a comprehensive, residential and commuter, undergraduate institution also offering selected master’s degree programs. Job Summary
Position is responsible for enforcement of criminal and traffic laws, institutional policies, and parking regulations at a University campus. Job duties include: Patrol University properties to detect and prevent violations of laws and regulations. Write reports and testify in hearings as required. Assist in providing traffic control as needed, investigate traffic accidents, and assist stranded motorists. Operate communication equipment. Communicate general and public safety information to students, staff, and the general public. Detect, investigate, and report breaches of facilities, property damage, missing property, and hazardous conditions. Provide assistance as requested or needed by and unlocking buildings and offices. Maintain professional appearance and attitude. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Be a United States citizen. Be at least 21 years of age at time of appointment. Be free of any felony conviction(s). Be free of conviction(s) involving cases of domestic abuse. Be of good character as determined by thorough background investigation. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Possess a valid, state‑issued motor vehicle operator’s license. Have a safe driving record. Have a steady work history. Additional Information
Salary Information: $11.00-$19.00 per hour. Required Documents to Apply
