A growing agribusines in Northern Pennsylvania is seeking a motivated Field Agronomist / Applicator to join its team. This full‑time position blends crop input sales and custom application, ideal for someone who enjoys both working directly with growers and operating equipment in the field.
Responsibilities
Sell fertilizer, seed, and crop protection products
Build and maintain strong relationships with local growers
Provide agronomic support and fertility recommendations
Operate sprayers, spreaders, and tender equipment safely and efficiently
Handle, load, and apply agricultural inputs according to regulations
Maintain accurate application and sales records
Assist with inventory, deliveries, and seasonal facility operations
Collaborate with agronomy and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Experience in agriculture, agronomy, or ag retail preferred
Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate application equipment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
Pesticide Applicator's License preferred; CDL a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons
