Communications Specialist, Design to Delivery

Responsibilities
Support major communications moments in the D2D calendar, including town halls and leader meetings
Create and manage the D2D communications calendar while maintaining an understanding of corporate and global communications initiatives
Manage the monthly electronic newsletter from editorial planning to desktop publishing and distribution
Develop Design to Delivery focused content for annual communications initiatives
Maintain monthly communications scorecard
Develop basic creative visual imagery and video content to support D2D communications moments in the calendar
Maintain D2D employee social media channels with a focus on editorial management, content creation and analytics
Develop, manage, and contribute to all D2D internal communications channels, including long-form article content, email communications, digital signage, employee social media, presentations, etc.
Monitor D2D Communications team mailbox and other feedback channels; promptly respond to or elevate questions
Develop, enhance, and create hourly plant communications to drive engagement, enable feedback loops and metrics
Align all D2D Transformation Office messaging across key responsibilities above to ensure one holistic message
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required with preference for degree in Journalism, English, Public Relations, Marketing Communication or a related field
1-3 years of experience in corporate communications (either in-house or agency setting)
Organized and motivated
Superior attention to detail and time management, with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communications skills; proficiency with digital; excellent editorial skills; understands how to develop and direct key messages to different audiences
Ability to create attractive, understandable, and concise presentations
Poised and professional with the ability/comfort to work collaboratively with colleagues of all levels and build cross‑functional relationships; able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive and/or material information
Comfortable with technology, including, but not limited to internal and external social media channels, MS Office, file sharing and collaboration tools
Exhibit demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in a fast‑past, highly dynamic business environment with competing priorities
Flexibility to work hours that meet the demands of the position; ability to make quick decisions and work under strict deadlines
Passionate about food and sustainability with a strong desire to make a meaningful impact through communications strategies
