Intern Program Event Coordinator

Redmond, WA (100% Onsite)

Duration:

4‑Month Contract (Possibility of extension)

Pay Rate:

$31.00 – $36.00 per hour

Location Requirement:

Seattle Metro area (commutable to Redmond Office)

Role Summary Join the team behind one of the world’s most prestigious intern programs at a global leader in technology. As an Intern Program Event Coordinator, you will be a critical contributor to the success of the Summer 2026 Intern Program. You will handle a blend of operational excellence and engaging experience design for interns across the Americas, ensuring a world‑class journey for the future workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Logistics:

Drive planning and execution of summer program operations, maintaining a sound model that supports a best‑in‑class experience.

Event Execution:

Partner with the Engagement team to plan and execute support for major events, including Welcome Week, mentorship events, and technical skilling sessions.

Administrative Support:

Manage marketing and logistics of programmatic efforts, create events, and assist Project Managers with specialized administrative tasks.

Onsite Coordination:

On event‑heavy days, you will be on campus to manage room prep, coordinate vendor arrivals, and support the full execution of the experience from set‑up to clean‑up.

Candidate Requirements

Experience:

2–4 years of recruiting or event coordination experience.

Event Logistics:

Proven background in high‑volume scheduling and managing complex event logistics.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel is required; experience with tracking systems is highly preferred.

Soft Skills:

You must be a self‑starter with a strong customer‑service orientation, capable of taking initiative and problem‑solving in a fast‑paced environment.

Adaptability:

Ability to remain detail‑oriented and adaptive to process changes while communicating across multiple internal and external parties.

Typical Operating Rhythm

Event Days:

Active, on‑campus support involving physical logistics, vendor management, and real‑time troubleshooting.

Non‑Event Days:

Administrative work focused on event creation, meetings with extended team members, and advancing specific program projects.
