Applicants selected for Adjunct positions will be required to submit 3 letters of recommendation. Letters should not be older than 1 year and should have a manual signature if uploaded by the applicant. An official transcript is required 30 days after the hire date. Please email hr@ecsu.edu.
Responsibility To provide applied lessons in guitar performance. Other duties include maintenance and supervision of the In‑House Recording Studio and supervision of students in the recording studio.
Qualifications 18 hours of instruction on the graduate level in Guitar Performance (required). M.M. in Guitar – Guitar performance or Jazz Studies in Guitar with experience teaching guitar at college level (preferred). Evidence of experience within the music industry and the ability to teach music industry and/or music technology courses is required. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies. Must be committed to excellence in student learning and the ability to promote students’ ability to succeed in a multicultural and global community.
