Are you passionate about parks, trails, and open spaces? Do you want to see the impact of your work in a real and meaningful way? Friends of Franklin Parks, a growing nonprofit focused on enhancing Franklin’s parks and trail systems, is looking for a creative and motivated Fundraising and Development Manager to help advance our mission.
What You Will Do
Lead fundraising efforts, including corporate, foundation, and individual giving
Build and maintain relationships with donors, including securing major gifts of $25,000 or more
Collaborate on digital campaigns and marketing efforts
Oversee grant writing, reporting, and donor data management
Work closely with the Executive Director, Board, and team to meet annual revenue goals
Represent Friends of Franklin Parks at events and within the community
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, marketing, or nonprofit development
Strong track record of cultivating and securing major gifts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Knowledge of the philanthropic community in Franklin or Middle Tennessee is a plus
Genuine love for parks, trails, and community building
