Are you a people-person who loves creating memorable guest experiences? Island Hospitality is looking for a Gallery Host (Front Desk Agent) who can deliver exceptional service while supporting both Front Desk and Food & Beverage operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy variety in your workday, this role is perfect for you!
What You'll Do: Front Desk & Guest Service
Welcome, check in, and check out guests with genuine hospitality
Process payments accurately and follow all hotel cash-handling procedures
Provide helpful information to guests, vendors, and visitors
Prepare daily reports for management
Maintain control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables
Food & Beverage / Gallery Operations
Prepare, stock, and present food and beverage items following brand standards
Ensure the gallery remains clean, organized, and fully stocked
Receive and organize F&B deliveries as needed
Prepare and plate all menu items
Sanitize countertops, equipment, and floors regularly
Check IDs and monitor responsible alcohol service
What We're Looking For:
A big smile and a naturally friendly personality
Ability to operate ovens, stoves, microwaves, and other F&B equipment
Motivated team player with strong initiative
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
Approachable and dedicated to outstanding guest service
Open availability flexibility is a must (we cannot guarantee set shifts or schedules)
Physical Requirements:
Able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
Ability to lift/move 10 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs frequently
Weekly work hours vary based on occupancy and business levels
