sign-on bonus. Position Overview
The School Psychologist provides psycho-educational evaluation, counseling, and consultative services in the school setting. Conduct comprehensive evaluations, lead the multidisciplinary evaluation team, develop behavior plans, and deliver counseling aligned with IEPs and 504 plans. Essential Functions
Lead the multidisciplinary evaluation team (MET) through student evaluations. Complete comprehensive evaluations and identify areas requiring additional data. Conduct classroom observations as part of evaluation, child study team (CST), and consultative processes. Prepare cohesive, timely evaluation reports. Interpret assessment data and share findings with parents and MET members. Develop programming recommendations based on evaluation outcomes. Lead the development and implementation of behavior plans. Lead the school’s pre-referral intervention team. Provide counseling services in alignment with student IEPs or 504 plans. Provide school-based counseling in accordance with pre-referral or informal interventions. Facilitate training on related topics as needed. Provide consultative services to teachers and administrators regarding behavioral and academic concerns. Respond to all internal and external customers promptly, efficiently, and with friendliness. Maintain courteous relationships with students, staff, parents, and community. Participate in events outside normal hours as required. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
Master’s or higher degree. School Psychologist certificate in the state. Pass a criminal history background check. Preferred Qualifications
Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations. Knowledge of IDEA and K‑8 special education programming. Hybrid Model
The model follows a four-day on‑campus, one day remote work schedule. Remote days must be approved by the principal in advance and are limited to non‑student‑facing work (such as report writing). Remote days must not interfere with testing, IEP meetings, or urgent student needs. Physical Demands
Walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to 25 lb, and, occasionally, lifting up to 40 lb. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and to see, hear, and follow instructions is required. Benefits
