Job Description Are you an experienced Healthcare Admin Assistant looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company? Do you want the chance to advance your career by joining a rapidly growing company? If you answered “yes" to any of these questions – this is the position for you!

Daily Responsibilities:

Perform duties to assist in activities related to the medical and psychosocial aspects of utilization and coordinated care.

This person works assisting the Case Management/Service Coordination teams with authorizations.

They work a very heavy caseload & are responsible for entering about 25 auths a day, setting follow-up calls, etc.

May call members, ask general questions such as confirming their address, personal info etc. and ask some general health questions and about services received.

They might be verifying appointments, obtaining labs results, researching claims or assessing/monitoring the inpatient census (roster).

They keeps tabs on members and services provided

Hours for this Position:

Pay rate: $14-$15 per hour

Qualifications

Must have healthcare experience (preferred managed care or physician’s office, but will accept many healthcare backgrounds)

Must have GED or HS Diploma (add to resume)

Must have clear speech as they will be speaking on the phone & could be dealing with the elderly population.

Need good computer skills, especially

Need strong data entry skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Must be able to work under pressure and grasp info quickly

Good team-orientated attitude.
