As a Laundry Supervisor, your attention to detail will show the team that you are committed to providing luxury Guest experiences. The energy and enthusiasm you display will create a “fun” place to work.

Responsibilities

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to all internal and external guests/contracts

Lead and supervise the day‑to‑day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed

Handle Guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the proper areas

Actively participate in daily briefing, daily warm up and department meetings

Ensure all colleagues are informed daily about priorities in the department

Establish and maintain constructive, supportive and professional colleague relationships

Working knowledge of financial reporting structures (budgets, labor, productivity, revenue, expenses)

Responsible for the recruitment, training and ongoing performance management of all Laundry/Valet colleagues

Supervises and evaluates the work of laundry, linen, sewing room and valet employees; effectively recommends personnel actions related to selection, disciplinary procedures, performance, leaves of absence, grievances, work schedules and assignments, and administers personnel and related policies and procedures

Assist in balancing operational, administrative and Colleague needs

Report necessary maintenance items in a timely manner and maintain open communication with Engineering team

Follow all safety and sanitation policies

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum 2‑year experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity in Laundry/Housekeeping

Experience in a Housekeeping environment an asset

Service focused personality is essential

Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities and the ability to lead by example

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Bilingual (English & Spanish) an asset
