Location:
Corporate office in Atlantic Station with occasional travel to clinic locations.
Responsibilities
Drive and continuously improve the culture of patient safety at multiple PHC locations
Advance PHC's patient safety program, including physician safety coaches and senior provider coaches, as appropriate
Promote and educate staff on the appropriate use of error prevention tools, safety huddles, safety rounds, and just culture
Ensure an environment of openness and a culture of speaking up
Support a safety culture, ensuring compliance with laboratory and radiology safe practices
Maintain the clinical competency program for Piedmont employed physician office practice clinical staff
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Engineering, Healthcare Administration or related field – Required
Master's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration – Preferred
Work Experience:
5 years of hospital experience in safety, quality or performance/operations improvement – Required
Licenses and Certifications:
RN: Current licensed in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License – Required
Additional Licenses and Certifications:
Certified Professional in Project Management, Health Care Quality or other related certifications – Preferred
Registered Nurse license – Preferred
Training in crew resource management/high reliability training – Preferred
