How we work: Owner is a remote‑first, global company with a home base in San Francisco. For some of our creative teams we prioritize in‑person collaboration at our SF HQ. The rest of our employees are distributed throughout the world.
This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in Canada with a priority in the Greater Toronto Area.
Impact you will have
Build and lead a world‑class team of sales and business development representatives
Become an expert in our product and the industry so that you can coach your team to advise restaurant owners in a high‑trust manner
Lead from the front by co‑selling with your reps (we don’t hide behind Gong)
Coach and develop your team based on their unique strengths
Inspire your team to be great for themselves and for our customers
Identify opportunities in the business and execute projects to improve our sales system
Partner and collaborate successfully with cross‑functional teams
Level up consistently by reading, listening to podcasts, and learning from your teammates and peers
Direct first line management experience in the software industry (SMB preferred)
Strong followership and references – your reps will sing your praises when asked
History of personal and professional excellence
Lifelong learner mindset and commitment to professional growth and development
You thrive while working in a fast‑paced environment where change is common
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with restaurants (selling to or working in!) is a huge plus
Pay and benefits
The estimated yearly total compensation for this role is $160,000 - 180,000 CAD OTE, plus a generous pre‑IPO equity package
