Position Summary The New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans Associate Program is a ten-month intern-level program that exposes entry-level candidates to the business side of sports. These positions work across both the NFL and NBA seasons, and work full-time hours in various departments within our organization.
What You’ll Be Doing
Create essential gameday documents including PA books, Production binders, Emcee Punch lists, Timelines and Gameday Staff checklists
Proofread and distribute gameday scripts and other materials
Operate the gameday scripting software (ShoFlo) and make real-time script changes as needed
Attend pre-game meetings and rehearsals to help ensure all gameday elements run smoothly
Help coordinate and book talent for key moments such as national anthem, color guards, halftime and flag unfurls
Assist with in-game activations and promotions; including the staging of fans and equipment
Assist with the layout, planning and execution of concourse activations as needed
Prepare in-game paperwork, prizes, and inventory
Oversee all in-game contestant release forms as well as an archive of email correspondence with contestants
Maintain database of game by game credential, parking, ticketing, and wristband needs for all Game Experience full-time and game day staff
Represent the Saints and Pelicans organization at off-site community and sponsor events
Contribute to weekly Game Experience team meetings and brainstorm sessions
Other tasks as assigned by the Game Experience Director
What You’ll Bring
Prior experience with event planning, live entertainment or customer service is preferred.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Organized and dependable with the ability to manage multiple priorities; proactive and adaptable in fast-paced environments
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or relevant software
Ability to learn new tools and systems quickly
Enthusiastic team player who enjoys working with others to achieve shared goals
Time management and ability to meet deadlines

Must be willing and able to work long, irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL SAINTS AND PELICANS HOME GAMES.
Must live in the New Orleans area or be willing to relocate for one year.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans are a plus.
