Job Summary
The Irrigation Foreman detects and makes repairs to the irrigation system.
Duties and Responsibilities
Detect and repair the irrigation system
Read and interpret various gauges related to the irrigation system
Manage employees and oversee production in the field
Ensure a safe environment for other workers and vendors, clients and for all employees
Operate light/heavy equipment effectively and according to all regulations
Ensure that equipment is maintained and managed; alert supervisors if there are any issues
Report any problems with job site or equipment immediately
Demonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as promote company culture
Education and Experience
Commercial irrigation installation experience - minimum 2 years of experience in irrigation
Strong work ethic - Knowledge of blueprints
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
Irrigation certification is a plus
Physical Demands/Requirements
Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking and repetitive motions.
Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/up to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Must possess the visual acuity to operate equipment and motor vehicles, perform trades tasks, inspect the work of others, and review work for accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.
The position primarily works outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions and noise levels.
