Job Title
Safety Coordinator
Job Duration 12 months + (Possible Extension or Internal hire possibility)
Shift 3rd shift - 11:00 pm to 7:30 am
Pay Rate HR. on W2 All Inclusive on SGS Payroll

Responsibilities
Conduct safety observations on the warehouse floor.
Conduct incident investigations, ergonomic reviews, and interview employees.
Provide training to individuals on safety procedures.
Participate in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes to reduce workplace hazards.
Conduct incident investigations and ergonomic reviews; assist in determining effective corrective action.
Compile and analyze necessary data, documentation, and correspondence to comply with safety regulations and health and safety management system requirements.
Develop recommendations for health and safety processes/programs to meet standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Manage and review safety record‑keeping per OSHA guidelines and internal processes.
Coordinate safety audits and risk assessments to identify noncompliance with standards and applicable laws and regulations.
Manage corrective action and preventative action processes.
Review new processes, equipment, and assets for potential hazards and compliance; make recommendations prior to introduction.
Respond to questions and requests for information relevant to safety and health issues.
Develop, direct, and may conduct safety presentations and training.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment with a strong safety background.
Knowledge and experience in developing and providing safety training.
Safety Degree and/or very strong manufacturing safety experience.
Strong skills in MS Office suite.
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with occupational safety.
OSHA ten‑hour card or thirty‑hour experience.
Any certifications for OSHA training.
