Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Drawback Account Analyst to join their team in Houston, TX.

You will be empowered to secure maximum duty, tax, and fee recovery for the organization, directly supporting our financial health and trade compliance integrity. Key Responsibilities: you won't just file claims; you'll be a compliance and recovery champion, with the autonomy to drive impactful change and optimize processes.

Responsibilities

Architect and file complex U.S. Customs drawback claims, meticulously ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Analyze import and export data to identify opportunities for maximum duty and tax recovery.

Lead the organization of critical transaction records to maintain documentation integrity for audit readiness.

Streamline process improvements to enhance filing efficiency and recovery potential.

Partner with brokers and trade partners to obtain necessary documentation and resolve claim discrepancies.

Provide strategic reporting and updates to management on recovery performance and compliance risk.

Qualifications

Proven proficiency with 2+ years of experience in Customs Compliance, Trade Compliance, or dedicated drawback programs.

Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations (19 CFR) and duty drawback procedures.

Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Experience utilizing drawback software or recognized trade compliance systems.

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis for financial reconciliation.
