Location: Austin, TX
Salary: $120,000 to $130,000

A Luxury Hotel in the Austin area seeks a Director of Food & Beverage to lead its Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will have a Luxury Hospitality background, at least 2 years of experience as a Director of Food & Beverage, and a Bachelor's degree. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all Food & Beverage activities
Oversee guest services and resolve issues
Ensure a high quality of service
Train and manage Food & Beverage Managers
Create and adjust staff schedules to meet guest volume needs
Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as a Director of Food & Beverage, and a Bachelor's degree
Having a strong culinary focus and restaurant management training is required
3-5 years of Food & Beverage management experience with revenues of at least $8 million
Strong Leadership and inter‑departmental collaboration skills
Proven track record of driving Food & Beverage revenues
A positive leader that works well under pressure and is adaptable to meet or exceed the task at hand
Ability to understand and positively impact P&L statements, cost of sales, food costs, inventory control, and safety performance
Capable of effectively managing both front and back‑of‑house operations
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Food Manager Certification and Liquor License required, or completion of this certificate within the first six months of employment
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent written and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
