To provide assistance and services to guests in order to ensure that their arrival and departure experience is pleasurable and informative.

To provide assistance & services for guests in order to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

To assist in the transport and storage of guest luggage.

To assist with guest packages.

transport to guest room

transport to guest meeting rooms.

To properly "log" all trips originating from the "Bell Stand" on the Bell Activity Log.

Responsible for a clean and "smart" appearance of uniforms and self.

Knowledgeable about all Resort amenities.

Proper posting of positions/locations.

Assist guests with luggage when necessary

Be able to give a warm and friendly welcoming to a guest “Welcome to Pacific Palms”, and consistently use the guest’s name.

Escorting guests to room

Be able to give room information ensuring proper operation of guest room facilities

Able to work professionally under pressure

Have property knowledge to give directions to guests

Lift heavy objects up to 50lbs

Be able to listen and respond to guest needs

Assist guests with directions, getting transportation and have knowledge of local attractions and restaurants

Keeping Storage area and office area clean and organized

Keeping Bell Carts polished

Assist Engineering in placing rain mats and caution signs out when rain starts

Ensure cleanliness of Valet Drive and South Patio

Delivering newspapers, Express Checkouts, Mail and packages to guest rooms upon request

Answering phone to provide information

Tags the baggage with the proper claim checks and gives the guest his/her claim ticket for the baggage.

Unloads the baggage from the car or taxi and assists guests inside the Resort.

Directs guests to the Front Desk.

Calls taxi or shuttle for guests as needed

Assists the Bell Captain with all luggage storage and retrieval

Loads the baggage in the cars or taxis for departing guests, thanking them for choosing our Resort.

Controls the traffic flow in and out of the Valet Drive

Notifies the Front Desk of VIP arrivals whenever possible

Any and all reasonable requests of management

Qualifications

Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills.

Must have good math skills.

Able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to exhibit excellent face to face customer service skills.

Willing to work varied shifts and days.

Must have a professional attitude and appearance.

Must possess a Valid Driver's license

Excellent customer service practices

Adherence to departmental and property standards and procedures

Teamwork: Works efficiently and effectively as member of a team; communicates and cooperates with property staff
