About The Role Senior Analyst, Inventory Management Warby Parker is on the lookout for an analytical, detail-obsessed Senior Analyst of Inventory Management to play a critical role in the strategy to ensure our inventory is in the right place at the right time. In this role, you'll help manage inventory levels and sell-through projections across the organization to maximize sales and productivity. Our ideal candidate is no stranger to analysis and can consider past, present, and future figures. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are also a must since you'll often partner with other teams, such as Allocation, Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, and Supply Chain. What you'll do:
Conduct regular analysis to ensure we are optimizing our inventory across our retail locations and labs by adhering to weeks-of-supply, in-stock rate, and sell-through targets
Manage our SKU lifecycle and liaise with our merchandising, merchandise planning, and allocation teams to ensure proper execution
Develop and execute modeling for the inventory movements across our network
Provide our retail teams with reporting on regular inventory processes
Create models and reports to drive efficient data analytics for the allocation and supply chain team
Who you are:
Equipped with 3+ years of experience in a strategic and analytical role such as allocation, planning, finance, or another related field
Armed with a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or another related field
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and/or other data analysis tools
Savvy in analysis and interpretation of data
Attentive to detail, spotting and resolving issues when reviewing data
Able to zero in on specific details without losing sight of high-level concepts
An exceptional communicator who can collaborate effectively
A self-starter who's comfortable navigating uncharted territory
Not on the Officer of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
Extra credit:
Familiarity with Oracle, Anaplan, or Looker
