As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will support the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Coordinator and Maintenance Lead in the execution, planning and scheduling of work orders to maintain the facility and production equipment. Support in the maintenance department’s goal of a safe and hazard free work environment. You will be responsible for the following:

The opportunity
This position performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities depending upon area of assignment.
Performs preventive maintenance procedures on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment on a scheduled basis; Inspects belts, gearboxes, chains, bearings, etc.
Performs repairs on all related equipment with minimal supervision.
Testing of analog devices, scaling and calibrations required regularly.
Troubleshooting of low voltage circuits, analog devices, VFD's, and motor control circuitry to obtain a root cause of failures.
Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, and devices to determine faults, and failures.
Regular repair and maintenance required in non-production areas including the warehouse, design lab, building, and grounds.
Uses CMMS system for work order implementation, recordkeeping of daily activities, and planned projects.
What you need to succeed
Must be able to work a 2 nd or 3 rd shift, overtime and weekends as needed
Ability to work safely, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all safety regulations
Experience with PLC's processors, and ladder logic -primarily Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Omron.
Familiar with NFPA 70E standards and be capable of applying these standards in the work situation.
Boiler/Steam knowledge, and/or certification is a plus.
Flexibility to work 2 nd or 3 rd shifts; required to work daily overtime and weekends, as needed.
Consistent and regular attendance is required.
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school preferred.

The salary range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location.
