Job Description
The role is responsible for demonstrating competence in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, sterile storage, and case cart assembly.

Consistentlydemonstratesall requirements ofCPD TechII
Maintain certificationas a Technicianin Sterile Processingfrom eitherCBSPD or HSPA
Holds an additionalcertificationfrom one of the accrediting bodiesin one of the following:scope processing,CST, instrument certification
Minimum three (3) years of related experience
Additional Information
Supports the Mission, Vision and Values of Munson Healthcare.
Monitors the quality and quantity of workflow to ensure work is completed. Championfor processimprovement initiatives.
Able to work independently doing special projects and a super user and designated trainer/preceptor on multiple pieces ofCPD equipment and/or applications such as instrument tracking software.
In the absence of a team leader and/or supervisor, may be responsible for functioning in a lead role.
Embraces, communicates,and participates in ensuring departmental compliance with AAMI standards and The Joint Commissionreadiness.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
