is seeking an
Accounting Assistant
for a client of ours in the Triad.
The ideal candidate would have a bookkeeping background, preferably from a CPA firm or someone who has experience working with B2B accounts. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience with the following items: Experience making journal entries for items such as depreciation, recurring fixed expenses, balance sheet expenses, payroll accruals, sales tax, workers comp entries, inventory accounting, and who has an understanding of debits and credits and their impact on income statements and balance sheets, etc.

Range of $21-24 per hour
Duties
Support Credit Manager
Daily cash drawer reconciliation
Process customer payments and deposits
Process trade references
Pull credit reports
Help resolve customer disputes
Customer service
Set up new accounts
Month-end procedures
Serve as backup for Accounts Payable
Assist Controller in daily and month-end closing
Account reconciliations
Bank Statement Reconciliation
Qualifications Experienced in A/P, A/R collections, general accounting skills, commercial credit checks, customer service background, strong communication skills, creative thinking, attention to detail, working knowledge of Microsoft, organized, able to multitask, positive attitude, good work ethic.
